I saw my Ethereum got stuck in Metamask and I am frustrated – the puzzle of the cryptocurrency community
I write it as a worried user who tries to solve the problem that intrigues me for hours. Recently, I joined the world of cryptocurrency trading and created an account of Binance, which became my main gate to buy, sell and exchange many digital assets.
My excitement I decided to test the metamask, a popular browser extension that allows users to interact with decentralized applications (DAPP) without worrying about disclosing their private keys. I created several Ethereum test tokens using the Binance bridge and I was ready to send them to Metamask for protection.
When I entered my Metamas account, everything seemed normal. However, when I tried to remove my ether, I noticed that I did not appear in my portfolio. Initially, I thought that maybe there was a temporary problem with blockchain or network, so I waited a few hours to check if something would be solved.
Then things made a strange turn.
About 12 hours after using Binance Bridge to send my Ethereum test to Metamaszek, I realized that my ethereum disappeared from my account. My wallet was empty and all my Ethereum test tokens disappeared. At the beginning I thought that it could only be a failure or error on the Binance side, but as the hours passed, I was more and more frustrated.
I tried to contact Metamask support, but your answers were useless, which suggests that there may be a technical problem in my portfolio. However, I start to suspect that there is something more sinister at the stake.
It is possible that someone violated my account or gained access to the Binance bridge without my knowledge. This raises serious concerns about the safety and potential of identity theft. As a result, I wonder who can be responsible for this mysterious action and what means can be taken to prevent these incidents in the future.
If you have similar problems with the metamask account or other cryptocurrency platform, please take immediate funds to protect. Here are a few steps that you can take:
- Check your account
: Make sure you have access to your account and if there are no suspicious transactions or activities.
